"Clean Up Man" by Willie D features the former Geto Boy waxing adulterous over an upbeat sample of Betty Wright's "Clean Up Woman". The best part about this video is the guy singing the hook. I don't know who this is, but he resembles a gay Cee-Lo Greene cross pollinated with Carlton from Fresh Prince and a bottle of Cool Water Cologne. Fast forward to the 1:05 mark if you need instant gratification. Best line of the song "It's on like a pot of neck bones".

Hercules By Aaron Neville is a classic break sampled by many including the 2 live crew. Then a sloppy transition into Nas NY state of mind, in response to Jay Z's current hit. It's official. Every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month I will be hosting "Soul Glow" at Building on Bond. B.O.B as it is know by savvy locals is a small bar/restaurant in Boerum Hill BK. The vibe is intimate, and the cocktails are creative and potent. It's a good spot to pre game before heading to the city or other late night watering holes in the area. I will be spinning all Soul, Funk, MoTown and classics. There is also an open invitation to anyone who wants to bring some records and show their stuff. This Friday marks their one year anniversary since opening, so it should be jammin. 10p.m.-2a.m. every 2nd and 4th Friday @ Building On Bond 112 Bond St. @ Pacific. To kick things off I've posted some pics from Mint Condition, the last party I hosted together with knuckle buddies Devin Deveuax and Spase 1 of Mass Processor. Mint Condition is a regular party we will be throwing at Royale in Park Slope BK. The first party was a blast.
